Here's mine I've had it on for a couple of months now and I love the way it looks! It went together fairly easy the only problem was I used the sticker on the back of the template instead of taping it down. That wasn't much fun to try to take off for about two hours, but besides that it's great!

Looks great! Did you buy the powder coated, or paint it yourself?

Looks good! Yeah the instructions say to tape it down, not stick it on. But hey, who reads the instructions right? LOL...

In your guess defense it does say tape it down lol, but why even make one side with adhesive on it if you shouldn't use it?

I just assumed that the instruction were older and the sticker was a new thing, Either way, do as the instructions say!

Because we have them printed by our sticker guy. For some reason he can't seem to source plain paper, so he prints them on sticker stock. I keep telling him people will still try to stick it on because they can't follow directions. He just shrugs and says he doesn't have plain paper. If he wasn't just down the street I'd find someone else to print them LOL...

Do you put a bead of silicone sealant between the louvers and the hood or does it bolt directly to the hood?

I did not do the silicon as I have it bolted tight enough to comfortably expect it won't be necessary. If you live in an area that sees a ton of rain however, it might be worth your while.

I can think of no reason why it would be worth your while to silicon it. Paint the cut edges of the hood. Paint the insert (either a color or clearcoat). Bolt it on. Water can't hurt a thing.
