Paint & Rhino Lining

I'm going to have my Jeep painted and rhino lined (inside only); which one should I do first and why?

Thanks,

Ron

My opinion is that the line transition between the two will look better
if you paint first, then Rhino-Line. Save yourself some dough and buy a UPOL Raptor kit and spray it yourself. Fleabay to your door $103 +- a buck or two for the kit with the spray gun. Real nice Clark, real nice.

You can Rhino line it the color you want. If you Rhino line, then paint, you will have to sand the liner. To much work if you ask me. Then can add the color you want to the liner then spray it. I would not line it myself. Just to messing and little more time then I want to spend on it. I would rather pay someone 450 to line it. That way if it's not right, they have to fix it. But whatever you choose good luck.

You can also use a "Tintable Pack" of Raptor. Add your color and shoot in the normal way. I've not used the tint pack, but many times I've sprayed the Raptor without ever being disapointed in the result. And for a 100 bucks, there is nothing else a normal consumer can buy that is better.

It really doesn't make a difference which one you do first, if you are just Rhino lining the inside of the tub.
But if you do the tub first you don't have to worry about scratching your brand new paint job or getting Rhino overspray all over your brand new paint job

Let me put this into the proper context.

If you are paying someone to do the painting and someone else to do the Rhino, then you should asked them if it matters.

If you are going to do the bedliner yourself or even both bedliner and paint, then taping off new paint for the bedliner will be easier than taping up next to sprayed bedliner.

You'll have to go to an auto paint supply and get the tint. They can match the paint codes for "most" vehicles.

what you will be asking for is base coat, meaning the base color for a base coat/clear coat system. Mix according to UPOL.
