one last hope?

the problem is death wobble. and before i get told to go read the faq section i just wanted to say ive done my research on it. the thing is everytime i go to a shop i get told different things. so what im wondering is. my buddy sold me his rims with bfg mt's on the the rims are slightly warped and the tires tread uneven because he never rotated them or anything. what im wondering is if getting new rims and tires will fix the issue, ive put at least 500 bucks into the front end suspention in tie rods trac bars, hiems joints, stabilizers. i had no problem at all untill i got the wheels and tires. so any other help would be great but other then replacing those two things im lost on what els to do. thanks for the help.

Bent wheels & cupped tires....yea that's a bad combo or offroad only use.

ya well he used them as SF on his DJ.so Idk why I have the problem lol I'm lost I've done just about everything too stop it possible.

well I did think it was that but then was told to upgrade my steering dammpner then track bars.checked the knuckles bearings, joints...I was even told that my Track bar bracket needed reinforcing...but thanks for the help

Next time you get a death wobble, do a dry steering test. That will identify you problem 99% of the time and could have save you money. If this is really your buddy, take the tire and wheels back and see if he will give you money back. Otherwise you out even more money and it may wear down your new components even faster.

thanks for the info I'll try that and ya retuning the tires and wheels is out of the question but the wobble under control for now as soon as I wear the read of my tires ima sell the rims and but new one and tires

You may just be SOL. The bent rims may have screwed the belts up in the tire making them off road only. Hopefully replacing the rims will solve your issue.
