Nice. Looks tough.
Doesn't look like much fun to pull dry on the highway but ...

Wheelin with a trailer huh? It crossed my mind before.

Hmm, I wonder how much it could articulate laterally (side to side) off of the attitude of the vehicle before the hitch twists off the ball or something. Are there any production trailers out there for this purpose?
You'll have to let us know how it goes man. Nice work.

well, i wont be running the ball hitich setup for long. i will proably go for a pintial hitich like the military uses.

it is actualy not bad to roll around by hand on the pavement, i dont even waste my time backing up to the trailer, i bring the trailer to the truck. lol.

i am gona pull some of the leafs out proably later on. i wana see how it doze when it has a load in it.

There are companies that make off road specific trailers but they cost a ton. It is way easier to make one yourself getting parts from a junk yard. Go to google and look up off road trailer. I think they are like 2500 and up.

i think i am out like $500 for thing thing. i still got about another 250 to go into it though, i need to get real sides and a quality hitch

BTW, just so you all know, i did not build this thing from the ground up, the frame is originaly a jet ski frame, but we just added a **** load of steel to it.

Still, that isn't bad considering you saved about 2 grand and you get to make the way you want it.

so true, i dont think a 3K trailer would have near the ground clearence and hauling capicity this puppy dose... however, theirs would proably weigh less.
