Why'd you use a 8.8? Why not use a non-drive axle from a 2wd vehicle....you'd have a higher ground clearance.

it would also cut down on the weight. not like it matters though because the thing almost weighs as much as his jeep. he overbuilt it so much you could probably transport an small aircraft on it...

What if he is wheeling one day and finds a small aircraft crashed on the trail and the guy is alive and needs to go to the hospital but won't go without his plane. Then what... Ok that is ridiculous in every way.

i used an 8.8 because it was free, i plan on getting a real trailer axle in the future.

You could put a tool box on that front part right after the hitch and before the trailer bed starts. That might be handy. Just an idea.

planing on doing that and an air compressor and a gas can holder.

I seen the mud flap part , but you should check to see if you need fenders, also..... them coppers just love a reason to give tickets...

it will not need fenders, i actualy work at the PD, so im prety good about knowing what i can and cant get away with.

im supriesd some one nocied them.... the one on the passenger side needs to be cut off and re-welded, it tilts down a little.
