New Synthetic Winchline, NEED accessories

My wife bought me a synthetic winch line. Now I want to accessorize it before installing it.
I already made a Hawse Fairlead, and purchased a Viking Safety Thimble.
It has a section of Rock Guard on the line, but no heat protection.

Where do I buy heat protection for the drum? I was thinking about McMaster-Carr part number: 8823K52 ; Kevlar-Reinforced Fiberglass Sleeving, 3/8" ID, 1/2" to 17/32" Bundle Diameter

I was also thinking about more rock guard material. Does anyone know where to find this?
And What else do I 'need' ?

I ended up getting McMaster part number: 8798K32 10feet. Its A Nomex Sleeve. But my winch line is 3/8" OD and the Sleeve is 3/8" ID; it was just too tight to put on 10' of it. I'm ordering 1/2"ID Nomex now. I'll let you know how that works.

I also get my Viking Safety Thimble today. I'm watching utube videos on how to splice the line.

I wouldn't get too jacked up about a heat shield or not. Unless you are powering out under load against the brake you shouldn't be generating enough heat to cause a problem for quality synthetic line.
