need help with light bar install on 05 Wrangler

Hi - I just purchased a full frame light bar for a 2005 Wrangler X, please see link: http://tops4less.com/fufrlibarbwr.html

It says it installs using existing hardware. I took out the two factory bolts on the lower side of the windshield frame. The bolt pattern of the light bar support matches up fine with the holes, but the factory torx bolts are too short. I can't catch any threads at all.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I have to purchase longer torx bolts?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I put a light bar on my 97,and yes, you do have to have longer bolts(they don't have to be torx though).I went to Home Depot and got mine there.Just take one of your torx bolts in with you to match threads.
