How long ago did you paint the Jeep with the rustoleum and how is holding up?

Really nice work. I bet it was a little harder than you thought it was going to be but not to bad right?

Turned out great! Can't tell from the PICS it was rolled on.

What would happen if you did not dilute the paint with MS. To thick to lay down?

i definately think it would be too thick. I think the trik was a lot of thin coats rather than a couple thick ones.

No fading or oxidation?

My buddy told me we should paint the Jeep. It needs some fresh paint so why why not...

Ok, I will second, and third, and fourth, everyone else in here...If I werent as hard on my Jeep as I am I would do my best to duplicate this fantastic paint job. Best roll-on I have seen, nice job! I'm having my whole body sprayed by LINE-X with their "x-tra" reinforced with kevlar (haven't decided yet whether I will keep it black or go with a colored LINE-X).

Awesome job man

Great Job....

I am currently doing the same project on my 1980 CJ7. I did this about 10 years ago when I lived in Texas and the job has held up really good. I live on the beach and the Jeep has minimal rust. I srayed about 7 coats of paint on my first time job. This really helped to protect the body since what I really did was seal the body by injecting paint over it. The most important part is the prep work.
This time I had a little help and did a better job of preping. I will post pics as soon as the job is done....

Now to bring back an old thread...

The paint job looks awesome in all the pics. I was unsure of the color at first but once I saw the finished pics I quickly changed my tune.

Any chance of some current pics and/or comments so that we can all see how well it has held up?
