Nice job. I just started looking thru this thread, and the first thing I thought was "Oh man, he just destroyed a perfectly good Jeep!". But as I got further on and saw the blue really coming to completion I have to say, great job! Looks original and came out very nice for a roller job. How is that paint supposed to hold up to UV? That would be my biggest fear.

ya out here in CA they're mud flap nazis. i live in tuolumne county and this county, supposedly, supplies 60% of california's crystal meth. and cops are too busy pulling me over for not having mud flaps and then not having big enough mud flaps. LAME!

Awesome!

Great looking Jeep . I literally went to page three and said "wow" when I hit that first picture. I think the black accents add enough darkness to it, and then the white decals brighten it back up again perfectly.

I am really curious as to how the hurculiner looks on the roll cage, and also how the top of your windshield looks with the black stripe. If you could post some pics of those that would be amazing.

I want to do this as soon as I can rest my jeep for a few weeks. Fabulous paint job.

Man, i've been away for a while. I figured i would update this if anyone is still reading. I did these a while ago but never put it up here.

I made a modification to the third break light to mount it on the roll bar since i took everything off the tailgate.

I also decided to flushmount the tailights. I've always liked the way it looks.

First I traced out the design and protected the paint with tape.

Then, cut out the holes, hooked the wire back up, popped the lights in and done!

This thread is an inspiration. I have to find a good place to do this though. My garage is not big enough.

I've painted a few cars with Rustoleum.

They look great for a while, but oxidize pretty quick.

WOW dude! looks great! at first, i was thinkin, "what is this guys doin to his perfectly fine jeep!?" kept it to myself though, cuz like you said, "its your jeep, you do what you want" then i saw the color and was like "what!? baby blue!?" when i bought my jeep, i also looked at one and it was a color somewhat similar to yours. i passed on it cuz among other things, i hated the color. your color ended up being a little different and it actually looks awesome! great work man, good job!

Paint job looks good but why did you put that bed liner spray on your rollbar and on that tuffy console? You should have just sprayed painted it glossy black. That was my only problem with this awesome paint job.
