I decided to go with MetalCloak after seeing them show that they care what the consumer wants when they made thread after thread asking for our opinions. While some of their ideas and concepts maybe were not the most popular, they showed alot of us here on JF that they were willing to take our criticism and turn it into great products.
I also have to comment on the great customer support provided by Matson Breakey(matsonian).I pelted him with question after question about their frame built bumper and any lesser man would have told me to take a hike. He was patient and knew his products. He answered all of my questions through email, here on JF, or on the phone. He even gave me a phone call after I purchased my bumper about an issue with the installation that I could have run into. Thanks Matson for all of the help!
Ill defiantly be coming back to MetalCloak in the future!
Now on to the Bumper and the pics!
Here is a link to my quote that MetalCloak emailed me after I used the builder on their website.
Keep in mind that the price in this quote is wrong.Matson gave me an even better deal.
Here are a few pics of the packaging of the bumper and the initial assembly.
Keep in mind that the bolts are only hand tightened in all of these pics.
Here are some closeups of the part of the bumper that I had the most questions about. The endcaps. Hopefully these pics can help someone out.
Here are some pics of the winch.
