The fenders are 1.250 square tube at .095 thick and rolled then I used 16 guage sheet at 11.250 width and drilled holes in it for plug welds. the trailer side of the fender I added another 16 guage sheet at 3.0 inches wide to strengthin it for the bolt mounting holes.
This fender should take some rock abuse if the fenders hit any rocks. The original fenders were in bad shape and I could have remade that style of fender again but I wanted something that would slide over the rocks with some fender outer side strength thus the rolled tube outer.
The clamps are called "strong hand". you can never have enough clamps.

OK, this is last day of Auburn football. Time to get back to work on the trailer, lol.

Sorry to get so off topic but where was this pic taken? I'm guessing it's in Auburn, but, where? It just looks really familiar.

That table is made by Miller welding equipment, the clamps in question are one of the many options.

I knew it looked familiar. I used to live there when Arrowhead first opened in '99. In fact, I think that trailer in the top right corner of the pic was mine.

Ok I got a little bit done today. I now need to figure out which wheels and tires I'm gonna use then get the measurements for the axle, then I can get it into a rolling project
