lifting my cherokee

so i heard that a cheap way to do a lift for my 1994 Cherokee would be to get f 150 coils and blocks for the back. would this be a good idea if so what would have to be done? new steering stabilizer or anything like that? also how much lift would it give me and what size blocks do i use?

Check here my friend. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/cherokee technical
You're on the right track and there's tons of threads there discussing this exact thing. Stock XJ leaf springs don't do well with lift blocks due to their relatively light capacity, but there's other vehicles such as S10's whose rear leafs can be easily swapped in to provide some lift and additional weight capacity.
