Lift kit

I have a jeep cherokee sport 2000 I wheel it and today I was mudding inlittle mill I hit a rock thinking I could get over it ( I barely touched) so I want to get at least a 2 inch lift so I was wondering if you guys had any neat tricks to lift it or do I just have to suck it up and spend 300 for my kit ?

You'll probably get a lot better response in the Cherokee forum, read the FAQ, and just do a SIMPLE search on the site, on Google, whatever. It's not like you are the first guy to lift a Cherokee 2".
