Home made snorkel

So I think snorkels look amazing on jeeps and plus I heard they help on gas soo I don't have the money to spend 300 on some pipe I know how to make it kinda but I want to hear yours and make sure I am doing this right and not killing my beloved jeep

To the OP, there are lots of DIY snorkel write ups. Get on Teh Googlez and search. Get some ideas, draw up a plan, then go to the hardware store. Remember that most pipe fittings are available in 45 and 90 angles with a limited selection of 22.5 fittings.

Also, the only way a snorkel would help your fuel economy is if it is so restrictive it limits your maximum power.
