Help the new guy decide how much to sell a few items(bumper, grill, and side runners)

Hey guys, I just found this place, really cool forum.

So, I have a 2005 Wrangler X, and my lease ends in a couple of weeks, so I am going to turn my Jeep in and I'm thinking about getting a Rubicon or maybe a Commander.

At any rate, I have a front grill, back bumper, and 2 side runners that I need to sell.

I paid $1000 for them in 2005. Granted, it was at the Jeep dealership, so I stupidly paid too much, I'm sure, lol.

I work with a guy who wants to buy all 4 parts, so I don't mind giving him a pretty deal. Plus, I'll tell him to take the stuff off my Jeep if he wants, cause I'm too lazy, so I can give him a bit of an extra discount for that as well.

I found pics online of each part online, any help on how much I should sell all 4 of these to this guy would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Front Grill:

Back bumper:

And the side runners(mine are black, not that it matters)

honestly, get as much as you can for them. most people on this forum despise the tube fenders as they are about looks and not function. people try to sell them in the classifieds on here with no luck.

oh yeah, and a vote for the rubi here.

front rear and side steps... I'd say $300- $400...

if there's rust less
Personally these bumpers I feel like aren't really wanted by many jeepers because you can't install a winch on them... so get rid of them while you can

good luck

yea, I'm leaning towards the Rubicon. I got this Wrangler planning on doing lots of cool stuff to it, but either couldn't afford it or didnt have time.

Now, I'm doing a bit better so I can probably swing it to buy a nice Rubicon, we'll see.

Thanks man.

I was thinking $250, so I was somewhat in the ballpark, lol.

I may go for around $300, and like I said, have him take them off cause I'm lazy and don't feel like it.

I say take the bumpers off and use them as scrap to practice your weldings skills on.

$300's a good deal even on both ends.. and yeah let him take them off haha less difficulty on your part

say you want $300 and if he says $250 it's still win win because you're selling your bumpers and you figured you'd get $250 any way so no disappointment

just my $.02
