Headlight protection film

has anyone tried this stuff? worth it?

just purchased some new headlights, and thinking of getting this. it should protect them for daily driving as well as trail use.

I've had good results from Stongard and Laminex products, but I bought a car with a no-name headlight protector that was so awful it had melted and burned directly in front of the bulb. That X-pel stuff is made by 3M, I think it will probably be pretty good. Having a heat gun will help with the application to get it soft and pliable and minimize bubbles.
