Don't forget about the mods you can do on the Costco model to inflate 2 tires at once. Actually mine is a MV-50, but looks the same. See my gallery.

Very nice writeup and comparison, maybe I'll pick up one of the Costco compressors as a backup for my York-based OBA. Ya never know. This comparison is good enough that you ought to place it in the Reviews section where it can be referenced in the future.

Exactly twice as long as it takes to air up one.

Yeah. Two at once has never made sense to me. You have to carry around two air lines and you don't save any time.

I found this one on their web site, I wonder if it's similar? Seems to be a different brand.

I'll hold some time trials this weekend. I'll let you know how long doing it 1 at a time and 2 at a time. This will be from 18psi back up to 34psi. Thanks, I was wanting to do something outside this weekend.

I do two tires at once and though from an airing up only time point of view it's no faster, the complete process is actually faster overall. Both tires fill to the exact same pressure and I only have to mess with getting the pressure exact once per side. My 4-connector octopus air rig has been cut back to 2 connectors on one hose due to the two air hose tangling thing and it works really well now.

Nice write up.

I've had a cheapo air compressor get so hot the cord melted.

Great write up! My only question is why didn't you do it 6 months ago before I bought the more expensive version of the Harbor Freight compressor?

Great write up! We don't have any Costco's around here so I did some searching and found that PepBoys has the Master Flow for $54.99 and had a $5 off coupon on-line you could print out. I went today and got one and they also have a $10 Rebate thru March 3rd so with Tax the total cost was $43.48

Im getting one from Pepboys this weekend , where you get the coupon? I may hook a small air tank to mine with a pressure switch.

Go on-line to PepBoys.com and register for on-line specials and then you can go to printable coupons. As far as the rebate they have forms there.
