Harbor Freight air compressor

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93186

ok so i am admittedly pretty clueless when it comes to the whole air compressor scene, so i cant be sure if this is a total waste of money, or something legitimate i can get some use out of on a normal basis for tire filling and such. Any insight you guys have would be appreciated

Doesnt look too bad. Granted i wouldnt expect it to last as long as a york. But I would make sure to add an air tank to keep it from constantly cycling on.

I saw this compressor on their site:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ct...temnumber=90539

Would this one work in a Jeep? Can't tell if it is gas or elecric powered or whether it is AC or DC.

I sure like the CFM rates a lot better.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

Here's some more info on the compressor you are looking at...

It's the same thing as the MF-1050 carried at 4WheelParts, Pepboys, and other stores.

I've got the MF-1050 and it works for me.

You can get the MF-1050 at Pep-boys for 59.99. The Master Flow 1050 has gotten real good reviews there is a thread on here about it.
