Great Book for Jeep Owners...

"Jeep CJ 1945-1986", by Robert Ackerson
The book actually starts at the beginning before 1945 but takes you through everything the Jeep has been through up to 1986. And it's loaded with lots of pictures and ads from years past. I got just about every Jeep book out there but this one in particular is really good...Really tells you what all the buzz has been about.

I particularily like those micro parking lights under the headlights that were used on the early CJ's through 1970. In fact, from that inspiration, I put a set on my front pan under the headlights but used the clear reverse lense on them. I wired them through the left steering column arm original fog lamp switch. Really gave my TJ an earlier look. I'll have to post some pictures in another thread - it really turned out sweet.
