Garage
Now that winter is here in Maryland and I would love to tinker with the YJ .I don't have a garage or have access to one. But this year wife got me a 10'x20'x8' AutoShelter form Harbor Freight. Just wondering if anyone else used anything like this to work on there jeep in cold of rainy weather ? See ya down the road !

so instead of working on the ground on a board, you'll be working on the ground on a board in a tent?
enjoy anything is better than nothing i suppose.

yes , its better than nothing and the best aspect is that you dont really HAVE to clean up your mess at the end of the day. you can just close up and leave the tools where they are. you can also add some heat to make it more enjoyable. we would all love to have a 100' X 200' heated and air conditioned garage, with guido and 3 fingers louie guarding it. reality is much different. the most i could afford was a 30' X 56'. its full of stuff and now my "good" cars sit outside
somethings wrong here!

Hell ya! I've had to work in all kinds of "make do" work shops (courtesy of Uncle Sam). It's definately better than working outside
A propane heater to take off the chill, some lights, and some plywood or OSB for a flat floor and you're GOLDEN! |
