Dirt bike hauling

Two Questions:
I have an '08 wrangler Sahara with the tow package. I'd like to two my Kendon 3 dirt bike trailer when fully loaded is probaby ~1,100 lbs. Any experiences on the highway? Are they pretty stable vehicles when towing this type of trailer and weight?
Second Question: Has anyone tried a dirt bike hauler on the hitch? Was the effect of putting on ~250lb dirt bike detrimental to the handling?
