Clutch clicks when i let up

I've got an 08 jk unlimited rubicon. The clutch has always worked fine but yesterday I noticed that It makes one "click" when my foot is just about to let off of it. It's not affecting the functioning of he clutch, more of just an annoyance. Does anyone know what this might be?

It isn't the groaning clicking I've seen on jeeps when you push down, it's when my foot let's up.

Thanks guys!

Check where the rod for the clutch goes through the firewall. Sometimes there's a rubber seal/bushing there that gets kinda funky and can make noise or weird feelings in the pedal

Just looked at it this last weekend. It is coming from the firewall area but no idea where. More investigating

On my clutch pedal there is a little piece that floats on the clutch arm. It has a spring attached to it. Maybe you have a similar piece, and it is getting caught on something an snapping back slightly...

I'm not sure. Hope it's nothing major!
