Chrome trim powder coating?

Recently acquired a 2001 that came with a bunch of shiny silver crap on it. Seriously thinking about replacing/refinishing it.

Im guessing this is all chrome plated steel. Bumpers, sliders, door windshield rear hatch hinges, hood bumpers, headlight trim, etc.

Any one had this stuff removed, blasted and powder coated? Im curious how the hinges would work out as some of them don't come apart.

I will probably be dumping at least the old school light bar and the front bumper due to damage. Rear and sliders at some point because im guessing it would be better to just pick up something finished in black rather than paying labor to coat these large parts.

I guess the real question is about the door, windshield, and tunk hinges including other misc parts like the hood bumpers and rear view mirrors.

Buying new black parts looks like it can add up quick.

Do you think it makes sense to have these parts refinished?

The bumpers and sliders will be replaced st some point.

Some people don’t like it... but I “refinished” my stock wheels, flares, and bumpers in plastidip

It’s a temporary fix and looks pretty good until something else changes where I can upgrade the wheels, flares, and bumpers
