Chicago Winch?

Has anyone had any experience with the 8000Lbs electric winch from Harbor Freight Tools? It's a Chicago Electric Power Tools brand winch.....I realize that Harbor Freight isn't known for their high quality equipment and such, but has anyone had any experience with this winch? It's $249.99 right now and I've gotten a little bit of $$ saved up so I could afford that, but I can't afford a WARN for a couple of years. We're starting to come into winter and they are predicting another bad (for this area) season again.

The specs are 8000Lb capacity electric winch w/automatic brake.
1.8HP 55amp draw (w/ no load)
power in & out
remote w/12ft cord
freespooling
three-brake system

It's regular price is $339.99 but there is a $90 coupon.

I'm looking for actual experience with this winch, or others with the same brand. I know that you get what you pay for and my goal is a WARN but thats a numer of years off. I play in the snow a few times a year, and in the mud a few times a year, its' not going to be used a whole lot. I have had a small portable 2000lbs winch for 2 years that has gotten me by and been use a few times.

Thanks,
Josh

If you look down about 4 threads you could answer this yourself.

Well that was stupid of me...I searched for the wrong keyword :-)

I'm thinking I'll go down the street and pick one up this week. I've been using a $79 2000lbs electric & hand crank thing from HF for awhile, it's done what I've need so far....I don't do that much wheelin.

Before you do that just let me say I just used a Chicago today to pull trees out of a pond and the winch keep truckin' untill the front bumper and winch plate ripped off. Other then that I was pulling parts of the tree that were bigger then my Jeep so as for if the winch is good yes get one they work well
