That's a sway bar link, not a sway bar. Your new ones will bend similarly if you expose them to enough force. The sway bar itself hardly flexes so the force has to go somewhere.

Yes sway bar links. But now I can disconnect and not worry about breaking them. The swaybar itself is fine. My apologies for leaving the "link" out

I wonder if the sway bar "Fipped" went paralell to the link. This can happen when the lift is more than the ability of the two to keep from going paralell. Not having long enough link lenght could have been the reason as well.
