"Blue" Water Jerry can to fit Blitz Holder?

Ok, i've been searching for a week, but i'm not having any luck. I recently purchased 2 jerry can holders for my CJ, but i can't seem to find a blue jerry can that'll fit it for water.

Surely other people are using these holders and have solved this problem. The "red" gas one is easy to find, but i need a water one as well.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've got the Blitz 11412 Metal Jerry can carrier:

THANKS!

These aren't blue, but they are intended for water and should fit in your carrier.

Scepter water cans at Brigade Quartermaster

They also have a 2.5 gallon size if you'd rather.

HTH,
Adam

Red = Gasoline
Yellow = Diesel
Blue = Kerosene
Green/tan = Water

generally

Every water jerry i've ever seen has been either OD or tan. Same color as the vehicle camo it was intended on.

Only fuel cans are painted a specific color.

Thanks for the tips. I've seen a few blue ones for water, but the more i look there are alot more in tan or green.

The link that Faramir66103 also has a water one in black which i like, just have to wait for it to come off backorder!

The Scepter cans actually have "Water" embossed on them so you don't have to rely on can or cap strap color. I ordered the tan water can because I thought it'd keep the water somewhat cooler than the black or OD.

FWIW,
Adam

My Scepter 2.5 gallon container arrived today, and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the construction of this thing. I knew it was "mil spec" but jeez! The plastic is quite thick and feels very sturdy. The cap has a very large (4"ish) diameter opening. It's big enough I can get my hand into it, which may be good if I ever need to scrub it out. The cap also has two smaller caps, one that's sized well for refilling smaller canteen sized containers, and another that only partly unscrews that allows air to enter as you pour from the other cap. I'm really impressed and now need to decide if I want to get a 2.5 or 5 gallon gas can from them.
