Big Boy seat brackets
Unlike the piece o crap carpet kit i just put in these brackets are probably one of the best mods i've ever done. for someone tall like me, 6' 2", it's like naght and day in comfort for driving extended periods at a time. If the carriage bolts that came with the kit would have just been 1/4" longer it have been a little easier install. My back seat is out most of the time so i don't really have to worry about back seat room.

Got em from 4wheelparts. I think they were about 60 bucks per side. didn't take any pics but basically you pull the seats, mount the brackets in original holes for the seat in the tub then mount the seats on the brackets 4 inches farther back. I only did the drivers side and with the seat all the way back i can barely reach the pedals. Don't have to worry about anyone sitting behind me anymore.

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/want-more-legroom-writeup-238095/?referrerid=59358 I'm taking mine out fairly soon. Not that I didn't like them, but there are other issues: 1) I have a rack above the rear cargo area, and that prevents me from going back farther than the stock location. 2) My wife (5'2") can no longer reach the clutch with the seat in the full forward position. At first this wasn't bad (my Jeep was never borrowed), but it's gotten annoying, since we can't take it if she would have to drive, I have to drive whole road trips, if we're at dinner and I want a couple brewski's I can't, etc. Like I said, I really liked it at first, and I still prefer to be back farther. But my wife not being able to drive the Jeep really puts a crimp in me, and the rack takes away the use anyway. And I like the rack's utility more.

I am installing a set for the passanger side this weekend because I had a fat chick sit inside as a test and it just didn't work very well. Now I'm not all that into fat chicks, but as every Jeeper knows, you need to be prepared for everything.
I ordered them directly from misch4x4.com - they're beefier than I expected - real solid like. Still a little pricey for basically two bent pieces of metal, but if youse can't fab it up, then youse gots to pay! If they work out for the passanger seat I'll get them for my six foot two arse. Quote:

I'm 6'4'' and these was one of the first things I got for my Jeep. Over a year later and I still consider it one of the best purchases i've made.
