Has anyone rigged up their own windshield washers? I have my system totally gutted and want to make one good enough to push mud away. If not, I have an idea that I am going to build soon:
My idea:
The system starts with this:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KA2LOS...UTF8&colid=2590JISDWK4BX&coliid=IEE1JP1QM8JOM
Either drill a hole in bottom and fix a pipe fitting or drill a hole in cap with tube going down to the bottom. This will mount behind drivers seat (I have no rear seat) The tube leading away will be teed with two valves on each input; one going to the pump, the other to a connector for use to stick in alternate water source up to 5 feet away.
The pump:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ue&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_3&smid=A2N2PCJRUJNIQR
which is triggered by a Relay hooked up to the connector that used to go to the stock pump. Also with a on/off bypass switch.
That will go to a tee with a valve on the 2 outputs. one leads to under hood the other up the roll bar facing outwards for future hose hookup or shower head.
Under the Hood :
I will place some sort of pressure nozzles facing the windshield popping up about 1 foot forward of original nozzles. I have not picked out any nozzles so any suggestions would be welcome.:tea:
