Anyone have custom front fenders?

I am thinking about making some out of my old fenders. Some ideas might be helpful. If you have them, how do you like them? Got pics?

i went over the existing fender, so i didnt have to mess around with the inner fender. also, i went against the grain and kept the front lip that hangs down a little....

fender idea-rs

Here's one guy's avatar. I believe his name is "mtnhightj"
I'm not a pro at posting pics but one of those should work!

Here's a different guy's writeup about cutting his CJ fenders. Pretty detailed. I like these two ideas because I can't weld (yet). you could always cut more and weld on tubes later.

I have a TJ so I'm thinking about putting the rectangular blinkers in the grill like a yj and then the side markers in the (insert location here) side of the hood? in the tub in front of doors? what do you guys think?

fenders

this is exactly what i had in mind, but it's proving difficult to find round blinkers. then i had a light bulb and thought about JK blinkers: perfect!!
(except for the 4 front JK blinkers it will be $110 plus tax!!!!!!!)
