?? Aluminum Steps ??

I never really see much praise for Steel Horse products on the forums. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with their Uluma Ultra Steps? I've been looking for a set of steps for my YJ. Steel Horse is the only munufacture that I came across that makes them for Jeeps. Or does anybody else make a set of aluminum steps for Jeeps

1994 YJ 4.0L Auto with K&N air filter, 6" inch lift, 33" General Grabbers, Smittybuilt Bumpers, KC Offroad lights and a bunch of other things.

Ya know, I've never seen them on a YJ but I'd assume they're the same things that I have seen installed on a TJ. These were identical to the plastic factory steps on some TJs, but made of cast aluminum. A friend insisted on putting them on his TJ against many of us advising him to buy nerfs or some other sort of rocker protection. The entrance to the Rubicon is called Gatekeeper. It's not a difficult obstacle really, but you will usually get the first test of your rocker panel protection there. His silly little aluminum steps busted like glass. Not to mention the damage he sustained in his rocker panel. I'll give you the same advice, spend the money on something that offers real protection in combination with a step. These aluminum steps are pure poser material.
