10,000 LB winch for $299

No joke Just bought a Great 10,000 LB winch From Harbor Freight For only $299.
A lot of friends have this winch and it works great. And the is a awesome story about. It was Priced at $399 in dec but after them moved it to $549. So i went in to buy and found out the price has been moved to 549 so i was ill just buy the 9000LB for 379. but they were out for a while so i talked to the manager and he said they will honor the 399 price. nice right it get better i had 25% off coupons so i got it for it took the price down to $299 so another 30 buck for a one year warranty and then tax 354 dollor got me a new winch and plat and a one year warranty.

Yes the warranty is a amazing you buy a one year at the end of the one year take it back say bad switch and they give you a new on and for $30-40 depending on what you payed you can buy a Warranty for the new one pays for it self almost no electric winch last for ever. but i know i guy that owned on for 5-6 years no problem you do have one go out buy a new one take the old one back shortly after it's not working and get your money back.( had bubby's do that not really the way i would do it though)

Ive had a HF 10k winch for several months. It's worked great for me so far. As everyone says, its noisy and slow, but who cares, I just want to be unstuck after I use it.

I have ran the HF 8k for 6 years and ran it pretty hard. Replaced solenoid once. I don't think it is a bad winch.

Smittybuilt winches are more of the budget choice right now.

If its something being used everday go with a american made quality winch. If its just a weekend, once in a while when I need it they do OK. I have the 8000lb on my car trailer and it has never failed me. It is a bit slower and noisey but what the heck.
