I am going to tentatively schedule this for the 11 - 15 of August. Based on the rubicon closures this looks like the best time. I am open for input though.

You guys have been noticed on the Nor-Cal thread. I thought I'd give you some info.

https://www.google.com/calendar/embe...&gsessionid=OK

This is a FOTR (Friends Of The Rubicon) Calendar, I think.

It's important, because during Jeepers Jambores, the trail will be closed.

Also, I'd like to invite you to join our little group. The Rubicon Ramblers have been running the Rubicon for 27 years. We only get together once a year, the week after Labor Day. There is only one restriction. It's a men only gathering, boys 15 years old and older also.

We do have a new website, and it's free to join. We also plan other trail rides this summer, and they will be more family friendly. So check it out an join if you wish.

Well... depending on how the funds and work play out, the rubicon is on my bucket list. August would be perfect for me.

when his hand throttle wouldn't release at the top of Del Diablo Drop-off, at the end of our pinion mountain run that you didn't come on.

I believe the tool he used to release it was my bottle opener... but I can't remember for sure

Rik was desperate to get rid of that thing after having it so long.

I was really suspicious on why rik was hovering over me while I was looking at that stupid thing. So hopefully I will be able to get rid of it soon!
