It was nice seeing you guys out in the trails, sorry for not tagging along for the wings and beer but I had to take my dad back home.
Hopefully today's run will get me back in gear to save some money and finally install the ARB locker, that way I don't have to be answering to "what's the loud clicking sound in your front differential"

Especially since that "loud clicking sound" doesn't work anymore

Was a lot of fun wheeling with everyone. Sorry I had to scoot out of there early. Hope you guy were able to get him off the trail relatively easily and safely. All in all a good day of wheeling.....except for that damn Toyota breaking junk. Haha

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...

Had a good time today with some great people! 2 broken rigs but that's the name of the game. I'll post up some video after I download/edit it up a little. After two (yes just 2) beers and that awesome food from hot Ms. Madison, I'm freaking beat! Hot shower and bed for me.

Broken here's my .02 worth when filming with go pros. I found that the best way to film where the jeep isn't too far away or whatever you wanna film isn't a ant in the video. About 15 feet away will be a little on the far side for filming and 10 feet is the minimum if you want to get the whole jeep in the shot. I would use a pole to get some sweeping shots as the jeep would go up the obstacles. To kwwp that same distance without haging to be close to tbe jeep in a bad spot. And with the pole you can get creative. I used a painters pole with a handlebat mount so I could go from 6 ft with it to 10 ft with it.

I spoke with Jeff a bit earlier and it seems that by us pulling that grenaded axle shaft and partially reseating the lower balljoint and tapping in the upper busted balljoint, and straightening the tie rod, the TJ was able to limp off the trail and get a AAA tow.

Some folks are in wonder as to why I carry certain spare parts - now you know.

Good to see you and the rest of the crew too.

My advice is to pull that Aussie ASAP so that you hopefully don't ruin the rest of the differential parts.

If the Aussie ends up shreading parts, they may end up getting inside the carrier/etc bearings and maybe cause problems with the gears and seals as well.
