I'll do whatever... It's a big shake down for me though. That's about it.

Okay - I found out that I won't be working on Saturday, so I'm in as long as Mike still has a shotgun seat available.

Lunch on the trail as usual, right?

BTW: For the folks who don't know.....the Valero gas station meeting location that Jeff was talking about is in Alpine off I-8 & Tavern RD. Its on the north side of I-8 next to the freeway.

If anyone is near the 8 and the 15 we can caravan to Valero in Alpine as well. I know Jeff is close and so is Roberto. Also, my shotgunner bailed on me so I have a seat avail if anyone needs one.

Being that this is the current state of my jeep I will not be wheeling. If I can pry the fab tools from my hands afternoon beers sound great. Ill keep an eye on the thread.

I'm thinking we should meet up in time to roll out of vallero about 9 and any stragglers can meet up at 4 corners while we are airing down.

Just FYI, I got out of the habit of meeting totally at 4 corners because there's little to no cell service there and no way to get a message from anyone running late. Meeting at the store gives everyone a chance to get gas, food and water and all head out together. It's a short drive from there to buckman exit

my 2 cents

Good points Jeff. I like the idea of leaving the Valero by ~9AM.

I vote to carve that in stone for this run.

Since I'm working late Friday night, and by late I mean sometime into Saturday morning, I will try my absolute hardest to get to Valero before 9am. But if I don't make it, I expect you all to wait at 4 corners until I show up.

I would like to run up the backside of bronco peak.

I would also like to try the new(ish) stuff off gunslinger.

and take a run at going up the 3a connector.

if people don't want to do that, I'm open, but those are my thoughts.

should be a good shake-down for me. If I can get through em then I should be good...... I know my backspacing is not correct so my turning radius is a bit lame right now. Otherwise I should be all good.

Address for this meetup point please. Unable to go to BB at this point in time due to too much highway time and erm......."limited" luck clearing codes for smog. I think I can manage an hour on the road without getting pulled.

I'm up for all of that minus the connector. I will not attempt that again until I'm locked on 35s with some more body armor... and balls.
