wheeling, eating and drinking - 9/21

Why not combine all three?

I propose this. Next Saturday, 9/21, head out to Corral Canyon in the morning then a late afternoon meet and greet afterward.

Maybe El Cajon Brewery so it's central enough for those who don't go wheeling that day.

What time?

9am meet. I like the Vallero since they have a store, gas and a taco shop.

let's say 4pm at the brewery, subject to change.

Bummer. Jeep is still in 2wd mode, and I have to work. :(

Or, join me in Big Bear for my birthday run.

I can make it if other people choose to join. Although my stock jeep can only travel oh so far offroad haha

brokenyoujoint 09-15-2013 05:01 PM

I could do the meet and greet for about an hr but can't do the run. Still breaking in the gears and broke (if anything breaks). Can't do the Bday because I gotta work ... Happy B day though!

Climbit 09-16-2013 02:42 PM

I'm in.

DOH! It was perfect, huge parking lot.

Plan B?

San Diego Brewery on mission gorge?

wtfcrunch 09-16-2013 07:31 PM

Green Flash, Stone at Liberty Station, Gaslamp. There's many choices

Joe Dillard 09-16-2013 07:54 PM

Lets see....Moose's on Friday, wheelin' on Saturday (if I'm not working), then a M&G too! Then UFC fights. I'm in heaven. :D

Sounds like a plan.

There's no shortage of bars but it should be a place close to I8 so it's on the way back from east county. Plus, downtown and anything near the beach is a non starter for parking 10 or so jeeps that all show up at once

Hooley's at Grossmont Center fills the bill.

TJRoberto 09-16-2013 08:19 PM

What trails do you have in mind, Jeff?

brokenyoujoint 09-16-2013 09:32 PM

I'll see if I can get it off. If I can then I'm in. Rear gears are pretty much broken in. Fronts are virgin. Not sure if I can put 500 miles on em in 4 days.

krughzn 09-16-2013 09:41 PM

In. Hooleys sounds good too. I'll bring ol man Joe with me.
