The bender isn't exactly portable, I'll have to set some lag screws in some concrete somewhere to mount it. Timewise is kinda up in the air at the moment. Holidays and all....we'll keep in touch.

Kinda' on the edge of your seat eh?
Just call him and tell him you will take it, and will be there tomorrow to pick it up. Then, if you get there and it's not what he said it was, you have an out.
That way he won't sell it tonite or tomorrow if he mentions it to of his buddies and his buddy say's "Hey... I'll take it dude". He's already verbally committed to you.

Or, just tell me where it is, and I'll go buy it tonite. kidding.

We could always go to his place. Does he weld or is your welder portable?
Yeah, I have to wait until after the holidays too. And I have a surgery scheduled for the 30th, so I'll be sitting around a lot for at least two weeks.
Maybe after the meet and greet? I would like to get some stuff done before the Havasu fireworks run.

Well I bought it, I am officially a Jeep owner again. It made the drive from Seal Beach to Wildomar without exploding but I think that D35 is about to go it is very noisy. I will post some more details and pics in the morning, I am beat and gonna hit the sack.

I am really tempted to sell the sand rail, heck I haven't used it in a year now.

Rail season is in full swing right now. It would be a good time to sell it right after Christmas to get the best price for it.

If it's the same one I see all the time....
I drooled, er I mean, saw that Jeep yesterday over on Ynez Rd. It belongs to the guy that owns Auto Doctor Automotive off Rancho Cal. Dave is his name. He has a tricked out YJ for his wife too. He also owns a performance shop.

It's a nice Jeep for sure. I saw it tonight on the 15 North. He drove by, weaving in and out of traffic. I caught up to him a few miles down the road. He'd take off again, and I'd catch up again.....all the way from Gopher Canyon to Winchester.

Did it have a high-lift jack on the back? If so, that's Dave.

We will be wrenching here at my house this weekend if you want to stop by and wrench or just have a beer.
I have told the better half that Saturday, I am wrenching on my Jeep, and to not bother me except to ask if I want another beer.
Now my eye hurts where she punched me.
I'll be out there in the garage about 8am. Chris is bringing his new (to him) Jeep over too. My son is supposed to be here wrenching on his Jeep too.
Anybody else that want's to join us is welcome.

I may have to roll by just to introduce myself. PM me with your address. I've got to head over the hill to Mission Viejo in the afternoon, but should be able to sneak out for a few hours in the morning.

Ugh... Orange County. I avoid it like the plague. My kids were born in MV when I lived over there. Man am I glad I don't any more. But I digress....

PM sent. I'l be wrenching most of the day. I've got a lot of work to do on my Jeep to catch up.

Hey Chris!
I saw you drove your new Jeep to work today. Your spare wheel doesn't match! (neither does mine, so I bought a tire cover)
Did you check the rear diff fluid? Is it still making noise?
