Had a great time with everyone who came out. Chef Chris turned out phenomenal meals again and everyone enjoyed them. We did a run to Calcite Mine and then out to Coyote Canyon on Saturday too. Happy to see that Coyote wasn't as sanitized as I thought it would be after the re-route

Saturday we all enjoyed the raffle and fireworks display. The Notches were much quieter than last year on both nights. Friday there was a pushing match between a Durango and Chevy p'up that was mildly entertaining. Oh, and a bunny giving hugs to the crowd too

Overall it was another great TDS and I think we're all looking forward to next year. Also, we talked about doing lots of Big Bear runs this season so keep your eyes posted for upcoming trips.

After I left TDS I screwed up and took an alleged better route home which turned into a nightmare... put me 100 miles out with temps at 40 degree's and 55+ winds with no top and no real jacket...Yesterday I began my removal of my front 30. When I took the ARB out it ripped off two more of those 6 bolts leaving me with one... LOL.. The locker just fell out when I unbolted it. No preload what-so-ever. I guess a bent housing will do that to you. 2 more wks then I can pick up my 3/4 ton hp 44.. can't wait...

Had a great time at TDS 2013.
It was good meeting a few of you out there, very generous bunch.
We ended up camping alone, a couple hundred yard from Ricrotorhead's group.
I don't think I'll do the organized ride anymore. Its TOO much waiting, not enough driving.

This is the line up:

I think the funnest places in TDS are the notches off of N Morena Dr. As your doing down the drive, once you get to the last house on the right, pass it and then turn right.. Those notches are a B L A S T!!!!! Not over crowded and harder than most other sections.

That's the first time I see some one break coil spring. Did you landed on it hard?

He hit it hard right after completing the obstacle in the first picture. Didn't seem hard enough to break it though. Going to give Rock Krawler a call to see what they can do

Nope, I missed that. After looking at that thing I would think twice about even going up it on my trials bike. That thing is stupid steep. I'm not sure why they would even build it that way You can't protect the dumb from being dumb sometimes though...
