So....Next Jeep Trip? Big Bear in June?

I heard Rick talking about this briefly at camp on the last trip. Any ideas as far as dates and specifics yet? I want to get things planned as far as days off, etc.

I haven't started the thread yet, but I'm looking at the weekend of June 25,26,27.
So how does that date work out for everybody?

I'm looking into campgrounds up in the area where the trails are. It might me crowded in the campgrounds in June tho'.
Chris is born and raised up there and he knows the area really well for that stuff.

My anniversary is the 24th so that might be a tough one to pull but we'll see. All depends on what's all available as for as campgrounds, etc. Keep us posted Rick and let me know if you need a hand.

Yeah June is full of weddings. We are even having one here at the house.
We may have to put it off until the weekend after the 4th. Don't want to be going camping or even to the mountains on the 4th. Too crowded up there. Besides, most people have plans for the weekend of the 4th.
So how does the weekend of July 9-10-11 sound?

July 9 10 11 would be a big possibility. Would we be tenting or staying in fancy cabins?

Not sure yet. I'm on my way over to Chris' to pull the t-case out of his work truck. We'll talk it over and get some ideas.
I'm OK with camping but maybe a big band camp cabin would be fun for a try.

Great... I was just reminded we will be in Oregon that weekend.
Grrrr.... I'll think of something. Be patient.

OK, keep us posted. I'm not at all adverse to getting a big cabin. Should be relatively inexpensive being off season.
