SD Jeepers Desert Trip November 7th

OK, people have been asking for a desert trip so here ya' go. The plan is to run Oriflame Canyon then cross the road over to Pinyon Mtn trail. We'll encounter "The Squeeze" and "Heart Attack Hill" while on Pinyon. Nothing is too hard and it's actually a fun run.

I like breakfast so I plan on stopping in Santa Ysabel to enjoy the buffet. I'll be there around 8:00 and plan on being on the road at 9:00. For those than want to meet closer to the trail we can meet at the Banner store at 9:30. If anyone wants to meet for breakfast just let me know.

Chime in with any ideas or suggestions. See ya' there!

Kevin

I'm in for now, I really liked Pinyon Mountain. My favorite obstacle on that whole trail wasn't the squeeze or heart attack but that little slippery steep rock face that half of us had to get winched up.

Yep, that little section catches people by surprise. My first time through without a front locker took lots of throttle and a good run to clear it.

Getting a strap from a Liberty? I think I'd rather sell the Jeep and take up needlepoint!
