San Diego Roll Cage Fabrication Shops

I am still a newbie to off roading. But I know I will keep moding and start doing more difficult runs. Before I do anything crazy I want to make sure that I'm safe. I'd rather save up a few thousand for a roll cage than spend it on skid plates, suspension, or tires.

Which fabrication shops in San Diego have the best reputation? If you got your cage done locally, I'd like to see pictures of the work. Also, I am interested in how much a cage would cost. I don't need a full desert racing cage, but I would like to tie it to the frame and have seat brackets.

Thanks guys.

Just met Shayne from Xtreme Fabrication in Escondido today, checked out some of his work. Be worth talking with him, he really needs the work = bargain time

Thanks for the links guys. I haven't spent too much time looking around. Just got my SCORE rule book in the mail and I have been looking at cages on Pirate and looking at JeepSpeed pictures. I need to find some time over the summer to drop it off.

Call Dallas @ Stinky Fab. StinkyFab Custom Metal Fabrication

Tell Dallas that the guy who helped him weld his sector shaft on to his pitman arm on Pritchett Canyon is sending you his way.

x2. Awesome, clean work. When I have the cash to redo my cage he'll be the one doing it.
