San Diego Junkyard?

Hey, guys

Im a newbie and was wondering if anybody knows of any junk yards in the San Diego area??

I believe there may be some down on Heritage Rd, but dont wanna make the long trip down to find nothing

Any help would be great.

Oh ya, im looking for some ZJ parts.

there are tons of junkyard on that street. ecology is the only one that lets you pull your own parts. BUt, they don't have much there past about 1995; the others are all pretty pricey for jeep parts.

there are two other ecology lots over on Nirvana, pretty close to Soak City and Cricket, one is all foreign and the other all domestic. Also on that same street is Pick Your Part. They have what they call a "premo lot" with much newer stuff.

BTW. Ecology is half price this coming weekend

What parts are you looking for??

Also, Pick Your Parts sometimes has ZJ parts (newer in the Primo yard). It's a hit and miss though.

Thanks, jbolty, looks like I'm going to go search this weekend.

I'm looking for a few interior parts, front tow hooks and a trailer hitch, never a bad idea to have some recovery points

take measurements before you go. Parts don't have to come off a jeep to fit.
