its just REALLY frustrating man......i spend out the a** on this thing, i seldom if ever bring it in for warranty work (i fix small items i could bring it in for myself), im nice as all h*ll with the peopel there, etc....sh**, i spend near 500/month...and they wont fix 2 leaky axles and a bad throw out. B-f.ing-S!!

never buying another vehicle there again and i've been tossing around the idea of a trade in for a newer Rubi auto. dumba**'s lost them some business!
I would have demanded that it be resolved today. None of this 'we'll get back to you tomorrow' crap. Raise a **** fit tomorrow and don't let anyone off the phone. Go to the dealership and get in someones face and don't leave until its resolved.

If you do end up looking for a new Jeep lemme know. I do deals for friends all the time and am willing to bet I can get you a excellent one too! I have some inside knowledge....

My roommate bought a 2001 Sport from Midway, and they screwed up the title so bad, he ended up saying screw you and registered it in his home state.

Couple of taps with a hammer, some wax, it'll buff out.

That sux Tony.

Hey Jason! That trans jack is the ****! We had that trans and t-case out in three minutes with it.
Now it's laying on the garage floor so I can get it all cleaned up, but I found out the tranny mount was broken, so I'll be getting one of those, and an exhaust donut for the manifold to pipe.
BTW; the shifter comes out by removing the two bolts that hold the plate down on top of the tranny. Easy.
So I gather up the parts, clean up the tranny, install the new clutch, and the fun begins.... re-installing it. But that tranny jack will help a great deal I'm sure.
Thanks again. I'll get it back to you ASAP.

Moose.... Good to meet you, and thanks again for the Slinky. My kids keep taking it off my desk. Little brats. Is it legal to beat them still?

Someone here mentioned an industrial supply place that sold large hinges. The type that are used on swing out tire carriers, etc. Steve maybe? Anyway, anyone know the name of this place?

so it looks like bestop's two piece half doors is the cheapest route. 450 for two piece half doors or 700 for wrong color full doors off craigslist.

Hinges? Like a regular style door hinge, but bigger? Marshall's

If you're looking for a swing-away style hinge, a trailer supply (axle spindle).

I appreciate that, but it's kind of a long drive from AZ isn't it?

I'm hoping to throw it back in on Saturday or Sunday.

So where do I buy the tranny mount and exhaust donut, anybody know?

Is it something AutoZone or PepBoys would carry?

Are you sure it has a donut for the exhust? Many years don't call for one.

The type to make a swing away carrier. Nate grabbed that bumper/rack combo from me yesterday but needs it to swing.

I don't think YJs have one. I think it is just a flared end.

When I reached up into the bottom of the manifold, I didn't feel a seam where the donut would come out, so maybe it doesn't have one. I'll look closer.

Where do I get the tranny mount tho'? Hope it's not one of those expensive 'stealership only' items.
