Get them to explain in writing why the H*** they are denying your claim. I suspect they will say that you drove it off road and that voids the warranty.

Good Luck,

So i changed my oil and dif fluid today. Rear diff had some metal and one of the gears had some chunks out of it. How much does this cost to fix? It didnt look horrible but it will be an issue eventually. D35 btw

the gear in the middle, thats dark and you cant really see.
fluid that i drained was blueish from both diffs too, normal?

So yeah no biggie, I go start trying to install a transfer case drop plate on the linkage. I lower the jeep down and attempt to move the handle to get a better angle. I leave the door open and lift the jeep back up resulting in this.

So now im riding without a drivers side door.
Anyone have an extra door laying around?

If it's just the spider gears, and not the ring or pinion it is no big deal to swap them. Parts are cheap and maybe even junkyard findable.

Lifetime powertrain warranty = any factory lubricated item. They'll fix it. Let us know how the phone conversation with Chrysler went.

the convo went alright i guess....she was perplexed as to why they didnt fix it. she went to call up the Christine (service manager) at midway jeep (not actually on midway btw) but she was out to lunch or something. she's going to call me back sometime in the next 24hrs.

its just REALLY frustrating man......i spend out the a** on this thing, i seldom if ever bring it in for warranty work (i fix small items i could bring it in for myself), im nice as all h*ll with the peopel there, etc....sh**, i spend near 500/month...and they wont fix 2 leaky axles and a bad throw out. B-f.ing-S!!

never buying another vehicle there again and i've been tossing around the idea of a trade in for a newer Rubi auto. dumba**'s lost them some business!

this is a very good friend of mine. proceeds go to cancer/leukemia research!
