I've sold enough parts to buy a Cherokee. I still have the axles, TC, engine, tub and frame too!

Or, you still have enough parts to build a CJ and now extra money to do it.

They will not want to see it. You walk in and tell them "here's money" and they say Thanks...

Heh. Yeah I suppose I could.
Since I'm here, after I find a place I'm going to be working on the Heep quite a bit. Definitely will need a few extra hands to get it started.
Send me a tell next time any of you have some wrenching that needs done.

How can someone find out what the fine is for CVC 5201??
I got a PARKING ticket for improper display of license plate but listed it under the catch all "others" violation which is listed at $40.00. I put my plate in the front window (parked) because I changed my front bumper (that did not have a mount location) to let whom ever know that I had the plates.
I want to dispute the amount of this ticket because it should only be listed as a "fix-it ticket" or a lower fine amount.
I really hate those parking nazi's. They write tickets for whatever they can just to get a quota and make the government money. When one got a ticket a long time ago it was for a serious violation or meter violation. Now a days that has changed to make money for the government (city, county, state, whatever). Just drive down a road (or street) and look around, I bet you see at least one parking ticket or speeding ticket being issued.

When I went back together I had a floor jack under the motor which was a big help in aligning the input shaft of the tranny to the pilot bearing. The T case was a breeze to line up. It sounds easier than actually doing it and there is always a health measure disciptive language involved.

I can't lift a load that is very heavy (surgery), but I'm pretty sure with all the jacks and jack stands I have it will come out pretty easy with some help to balance it.
The kit I purchased came with the alignment tool. I know how to cuss a lot, so I'm sure that will help too.
Thanks for your input.

First thing I do when I buy a cer is take the front license plate off. Never got a ticket yet (knock on wood). But yeah, it's supposed to be a fix-it ticket. Go to the court and get it straightened out. Get a cop to sign the ticket before you go.

Eventually down the road, yep. But for now I'm focusing on making loud noises with it.
What do you have to offer? The 30 and 20?

Any wrenching parties coming up? I just bought a Currie setup for the front of the Jeep and need to install it. Upper and lower control arms, track bar, and Currectlync steering system. I have the garage to do it but wouldn't mind meeting some other SD Jeepers.
