Scott - Sorry to see ya got a leak in your turn signal line. Go get yourself some turn signal fluid and you'll be fine. The only 2 lines that are running down that way are clutch fluid and brake lines. Both reservoirs are right next to each other on the drivers side of the firewall. Give them both a check and that might help narrow down what is leaking.

Rik - This is what happens when body bolts decide they don't want to play nice. I was replacing the current body lift with the Daystar 1" and had 3 bolts give us hell. All 3 required cutting.

Is anyone else going to the car show in Coronado today? We are taking my Dad's '57 Chevy down there that we gave to him on New Years Day...it will be the first event he takes it too - he is really excited and has been buffing it for the past few days. hehe I think it officially starts at 10am and goes to 3pm - look for the Sierra Gold (copper) '57 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop Sport Coupe (no post) with the beige top. I think my girlfriend's step-dad is going to be parked next to us with his Chevy as well - might be a '56 - I haven't seen it yet so I'm not sure.

Glad you got that done.

The good news is that is probably the worst, rust related, thing you will have to deal with.

It's down off of Orange - I think there are 3 streets blocked off and the star traffic circle...you know where that liquor store is on that "triangle" plot? I think the streets are Isabella and Park - maybe Flora as well...and Star Circle. If you are driving down Orange toward the Strand, it is on your right side just after 10th is probably the best directions.

I'm hoping I don't have to do any cutting. My Heep doesn't have any rust anywhere. The roll bar bolts came out with a bit of persuasion from an impact driver.
I'm gunna' PB Blast them for a few days prior.

If I have to cut, sobiet. That's why I'll be at your house when I'm installing it.

Plan B.

This coming saturday there will be a wrencing party at my house. The main reason is to install the body lift and TJ flares for RikRotorhead and hopefully at the same time work on my tube fenders.

All are welcome, whether standing around commenting or helping.

I know there is some wheeling going on this same day but this is the only weekend day I have available for the next few weeks and I want to get this stuff done. Maybe if we hop to it early we can get in a trip to CC or LW later in the day.

Details to follow.

Thanks Jeff. I'll be there early, what's for breakfast?

It would be great to hit LW on the way back to my house.

I'll be PB Blasting my Jeep all week, and I'll give the bolts a twist to make sure it goes quickly.

No, this is because I can't make it to Rik's party and I promised to help with the flares.

As far as I know the mid-may party is still on.

I was just cleaning my garage. Just got finished. Wasn't that bad. Only took a few hours. I tweaked on the Jeep a bit too.

Anyway, I cam across this neon sign that was facing the wall in the corner.
It works but my sister robbed the transformer out of it. It's pretty big and very colorful. Great for a game room or garage.

Anybody need a neon sign that say's "California Dreamin'"?
