Easy to change your IP.

Bottom line...don't attempt to make JF your free advertisement website.

A little common sense and following simple rules goes a long way.

Bent my front springs last weekend. ProComp 2-1/2"
Any opinions on better springs. They're basically stock height now.
Where's the best place to get new or used replacements?
I will post in tech section next week for more help. Have to drive to Phoenix for my Dad's 80th B-day tommorrow.

I would love to show up at the wrenching party, But to-many things going on in that time frame.

I hit hard flying down a wash. Bent my bump stops too

Me? I'll be cracking open my 225 this weekend to see if its useable. If its froze, I suppose I'll try marvel mystery oil before I give up and try another engine. Then all I have to do is help a friend swap engines in his DJ5
After that, I'm down for helping on wrench weekends.

Old Man Emu is generally regarded as being the best springs for the YJ. Ask Jbolty, he has them and swears by them. They are a bit pricey though.

OME springs are good. Call ARB up in Seattle and see if they have any "used" ones. They normally have a pile of "pretested" springs/shocks/etc they sell very cheap.

But yeah, OME leafs are great.

Rubicon Express springs are pretty good too. Why not go with a 4" kit instead of the 2.5?

Thanks. I herd mention of OME before. These Procomp are crap.Get what you pay for

$ the 1st reason. My next major mod would be a SYE and a stronger rear dif.
I have a body lift with the 2-1/2 springs so I have plenty of tire clearance.

Someday I'll let you drive my jeep to check out the springs. They really are pretty smooth.

I have a buddy flying in on Thursday night and he wants us to go camping Friday night - maybe Saturday night as well - and do some offroading. We've been talking about doing this for a while and we finally both could sync up our schedules to hang out. Anyone have any plans to do any camping or wheeling next weekend? I need to check the JustRuns schedule - I think I saw an email update that they might have something next weekend...but I wanted to check here first.
