Get a room you two! Geez!
We gotta' change the subject here quick.....
So, the next outing. The last weekend of April is out for me. My six year old turns seven, big party, ice cream, cake, clowns, jumpy rooms, water slides, beer, women, er... uh... moms, cool aid, etc..
The weekend before or the weekend after would be good. Preferrably the weekend after.
As for where, well, someplace new at least to me. I love Anza Borrego, but want something new. Johnson Valley is too radical for my Heep. Never been to Superstition. ??
The ultimate would be the Panamints, but it's a long drive to get there. My favorite wheeling area. Ghost towns, mine shafts, shooting, hiking, etc...
May is a perfect time of year for that area too. Any later than the end of June and it's too hot. Death Valley is next door.
So, enlighten me. Where is the next event going to be?

I am taking a group through Corral Canyon in April. Very fun run and the weather should be great.

Corral Canyon maybe? I dunno, but I'm down to go explore some new areas anytime.
EDIT: Damn Jeebs, beat me to it.

Some vids of us from Corral Canyon. Please ignore the lack of audio from some. The Warner Music Group vs Youtube thing caused it to be muted.

CC is fun. I've only ran BP, but I'd love to go check out the rest of the stuff.

My Jeep is only on a 2.5 inch lift on 31's. Some of those rocks in the vids look big. I need some sliders. No way my son's stock height Jeep could do that trail.
Look's like a challenging trail tho'.
So when in April?

I have 2.5" of lift and 31's and can run Sidewinder and to the top of Bronco Peak without problems. To go down the opposite side of BP is another story.

yea, those are pretty good trails to learn on...my mate took his stock FJ up there with Matt and i with no probs...so did eric in his stock land cruiser. he DID however land on his pumpkin twice. that was his first attempt of anything off road though. you guys should see him on a proper track though. he made nationals in formula D last year....good stuff!

I have in my garage right now some TJ flares and a set of BFG 33's. I need to get off my arse and order the daystar 1" BL and get my fenders cut for the flares. I'm real uncertain about cutting my fenders. Never done that before. I'm good with mechanical stuff all day long, but to think about using a saw on my precious Jeep make's me very nervous.
I've read threads about how to do it, and I'm STILL aprehensive.
I just need to man up and get it done. (anybody wanna' help so I have somebody to blame if it turns out badly? lol)
At some point I'd like to install my sound bar. I think I'll do that this weekend when I take my hard top off.
So when in April?
