The Olympics get ignored every year. 2010 even more so because it is in Canada.

Any one know if it's legal to be on the Lawrence Welk's Land?

I heard it was illegal to on the land last year, but recently I've been told that people have been riding dirt bikes and wheeling out there.

Anyone know the truth?

I'm thinking of making a trip out there sometime soon.

It's legal, because it is not posted otherwise. Search back in this thread a few months, maybe around november, There was a lot of discussion and explaination regarding LW.

Not sure of the legality, but I do know that people have been going out there for years and the authorities have not bothered them - except for shooting on the property.

I was told after being stopped off-road on my dirt bike by Carlsbad PD (on dirt bikes) in the area that is now the golf course by Palomar that in SD County they don't have to post that it's not legal to be off road. They said it's not legal by default and that you need written permission.

Still, no one's ever bothered me out there at LW.
