Some of us have 33+ years of doing BB and lived near BB for several years.

What trails did you do?

I would keep up the registration. It is not much more $$ and then no worries about driving it while on break from school or worse, some busy body cop or neighbor reporting it for expired registration while parked.

Erik, didn't I tell you that Debbie has been running AAA for 31+ years and doing DMV work for just as long?

Hey redluve1 let me know next time you go up, I love going to BB, with the rain or vehicles on the trail it changes every time your on it and is a blast to run, plus temps in the 70s and 80s and actual trees and scenery, its a nice place to wheel.

Decision has been made. Getting out of the Jeep thing for awhile. Time to shine the turd up this weekend and put the for sale sign on it.

BTW, I can tow the jeep for you after I fix my axle seal.

Or, we can drive out in the car and drive it back.

Well, the rod bearings and gasket kit are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and that is the last of the parts. I plan on starting to put it back together tomorrow and hopefully have it ready to drop in by the weekend. I can't imagine the reassembly taking to long. Who knows, maybe I'll have a Jeep by Sunday!

I don't want to ask anyone to set aside any time yet. I want to make sure everything goes together smoothly and I am actually ready to drop the engine and trans back in first. I'm cautiosly optimistic simply because if something can go wrong it will....

Going to be camping Friday night at Corral Canyon for a very early Saturday morning trail clean up but will be around Saturday afternoon and on Sunday if there's going to be put Jason's Jeep Together Party.

And Eric, if nothing else we could always drive out and pick up Lisa's Jeep and drive it back, don't necessarily have to tow it. And I agree, keep it registered if you can, much easier unless she's going to be out of commission for more than six months
