I would (start a thread) but you get kinda testy when people post in the wrong area and whatnot, so why don't you post one and then let the rest of us know where it's ok to talk about it.

Sounds good to me, I'll be there. What day--What time ?????

I had another fun day at the JY. I worked on my farmers tan and got a spare tie rod for $10.

Thanks for coming along Brandon and Steve.

P.S. Hey Brandon are you going to be watching the races tomorrow?? If I get time I'll have to stop in and watch too...

From what Jeff suggested and I posted in the SD Group page thread...

Saturday 28th at Fiesta Island.

Time we all need to decide, what we doing and how long we want to be there.

Ditto on the BBQ.

Me too. Seats for $23! Woot!

And thank you.

Come on over, I'll PM you the address. I have Modelo Negra, Pacifico, and Michelob Ultra Light. If you want something different, bring it. And bring Steve if you think he can handle the excitement.

A nice quiet night downtown

well, except for the congregation of fire trucks outside my front door...

seems the building across the street decided to catch on fire

The eight story white one just north of it, it's on the seventh floor on this side, the fire alarms are quite annoying, they're still going off

Is it just me or does Steve have more fires near his house than anyone else...

Coincidence?

Tried a test fit of my new seats in the Jeep. No go.
The stock seats have rails that are quite a bit narrower than the new ones and they're offset. Gonna need some help making these fit.

When is the next party? Think I need at least 5-10 guys with beer bellies and ballcaps standing around offering creative suggestions.

Well, ya know what Jeff (or at least Terry Prachett) says;

Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for the night. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I'm just trying to help...

Haha, yeah and such a help you are Steve.

Think that quote should read:

Loan a man a car and he'll have transportation for a night. Buy a man a Jeep and he'll need a 4" long arm kit, 35" tires, extended flares, special wheels with backspacing, an 8.8 swap, chromemolly axles, lockers, on-board air setup, SYE/CV setup, new skid plates, rock sliders, roll cage mods, heavy duty bumpers with tire and jerry can carriers, winch, tow strap, lights, Hi-Lift jack, CB radio, GPS, MIG welder, floor jack, jack stands, wrenches (SAE, Metric, Torx, and Allen-because that's how we roll), a wagon for junk yard trips, soft top, hard top, lights for the front, lights for the back, some lights for underneath, flashlights, lights that clip on to a ballcap, a ballcap, sunscreen, and just in case Steve happens to be around, better carry a fire extinguisher. (Make sure it's got a gauge so we can tell how full it is.)

Wheeled up at Big Bear today. Perfect weather, great group.

Better from the other side, you could probably stand underneath my tire.
